10 Year Roadmap Goals & Expected Results for
Lead Poisoning Prevention & Community regeneration Program

  • Zero new lead poisoning cases throughout Oakland's 145 micro-communities by 2026

  • Increase the number of "Lead Free Zones" from 0 to 145

  • Increase number of high school graduates in Oakland Unified School District from 65.7% in 2016 to 90%

  • Stop IQ point loss, per cohort of 500 children tested, & reclaim 108 IQ points representing $1.908 Million in lifetime earnings

  • Decrease $98 Million public service expenditures addressing issues related to lead poisoning and lost earnings over a lifetime per cohort of 500 children

  • Increase the socioeconomic development in 145 micro-communities by 25%
